As part of a complete home renovation this brand new garden was created to give colour and interest all year round. On constant view from the open plan living space it was important to draw the eye into the garden and extend the space beyond the windows.

Despite its size we created an area to cook and eat outside, space to relax on comfy sofas, a sitting area under a fragrant pergola and space for storage! We used different paving materials to define the different areas but linked their colour palette so it sits comfortably in the space and doesn't distract from the restful planting. Multistemmed trees form focal points as you move around the garden and the evergreen structural planting is softened with seasonal colour from perennials and grasses.
