We had a garden on a steep slope which was not that welcoming or easy to use and Fiona designed a new layout that ensured we used all of it. Now we have a patio area which is used for football and tennis, a built in BBQ area then wide steps take you up to a big dining table which doubles up as a ping pong table and on to a corner sunken seating area to soak up the afternoon sun and to look onto a flat lawn which we desperately wanted. As soon as it's sunny we decamp into the garden and really enjoy it thanks to her. She listens to your needs and meticulously makes a plan to address all of them. She has great ideas, is very approachable and professional and deals not only with the fun stuff but with all the technical aspects.

Having Fi design our garden was a really enjoyable process and we were delighted with, and continue to enjoy, the finished result. Fi's brief was to create a low maintenance family garden which made the most of our outside space. She incorporated our likes into a design which absolutely fitted our brief. From the initial sketches, to ideas on which plants to use, through to the finished garden, Fi explained her decisions and used her extensive knowledge to incorporate a wonderful variety of planting to suit the different aspects of the garden. Fi was easy to work with, great at listening to and adapting our ideas, and, importantly, stuck to our budget.

Following a gruelling lockdown dealing with a cancer diagnosis and several rounds of chemotherapy we finally decided to attack the jungle that was our outdoor space. I was put in touch with Fiona who was unflappable, calm and understood the remit perfectly.
